Build Your iOS App with Claude Code
This series walks you through building a production-quality iOS app from scratch — with Claude Code doing the heavy lifting while you make the decisions that matter.
What you'll build
By the end of this series, you'll have a fully working iOS app that's live on TestFlight and ready for App Store submission. Not a prototype that lives in Xcode forever — an actual app people can install.
How it works
This is a human-in-the-loop workflow. You're not just describing an app and watching an AI build it blindly. At each phase, Claude Code generates, you review, you approve, and then it builds. Your judgement is in the loop at every decision point.
- You provide: the idea, the decisions, the approval at each checkpoint
- Claude Code provides: the code, the architecture, the boilerplate, the patterns
- The result: an app that reflects your vision and meets Apple's standards
Why iOS requires a different approach
Web development is forgiving. iOS is not. App Store rejection, Xcode build failures, and provisioning profile issues can stop a project cold. This series gives Claude Code the iOS knowledge it needs so you don't run into those walls.
We've baked in two community-maintained Claude Code skill sets that give it deep iOS knowledge — modern SwiftUI patterns, Apple's Liquid Glass design language, App Store compliance, and more. You'll install these in Machine Setup.
What you need before starting
- A Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later
- An idea for an app (even a rough one is fine)
- A Claude Pro or Max subscription
- About 2-4 hours to complete the setup phase
