Before you start you need a machine and an internet connection. Where your agent finally runs is a later decision, so nothing here rides on it.

Install Claude Code

The kit is a plugin, so it only runs once Claude Code exists, and nothing can install its own host. That makes this block and the next yours rather than the kit's. The Claude Desktop app already carries Claude Code inside it, so skip ahead if that is you.
